Job Level: Intern

NAHB is seeking an intern to support the Information Technology Services department with creating an archival structure to drive continued and expanding utilization of NAHB’s historical resources. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, documenting and organizing the archival assets of NAHB with a focus on print, audio, and video materials. Additionally, the intern will review the collection of archived digital objects in the Sirsi system to ensure the assets have the correct metadata and taxonomy to allow for efficient retrieval.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and motivated. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a must. Current enrollment in or recent graduation from an information or library science program is a plus. The internship will begin on Monday, June 6 and end on Friday, Aug. 5.
