The City of Coral Springs is offering a internship opportunity to university level students who have completed at least two (2) years of course work in public administration, human resources, information technology, Library and Information Science and similarly related fields. This internship offers the opportunity to gain experience in municipal government assisting with a variety of projects.
The Summer Internship program runs May 30 thru August 11, 2017. Limited opportunities available, up to four (4) openings in the following areas: Human Resources, Development Services/Code Compliance, Communication and Marketing, City Clerk’s Office, Public Works and Information Technology.

Description:
The program goal is to introduce college and university students to the various aspects of municipal government. The program is designed to provide student with real experience to enhance their academic and major choice of study.
Typical Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program with a recognized college or university. You must have completed two (2) years of college course work. Ability to work on similar and dissimilar tasks/projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently without continuous direction or instruction. Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week and attend mandatory on-boarding program. May require attendance at after-hours business meetings or City events.
