Must be enrolled as a full-time student
Knowledge and experience with photo and video editing a plus.
Must be pursuing a degree in Archival Administration, Museum Studies, Library Science, from an accredited college/university.

Company/Organization Nokia, Bell Labs The Nokia Bell Labs Archives located in Murray Hill, NJ houses a collection of material documenting Bell Labs and telecommunications history dating back to the 1860s. Items in the collection include original Bell Labs’ inventions such as the first transistor, a telecom satellite, early lasers, early wireless and cellular telephones, original equipment belonging to Alexander Graham Bell and assorted Nobel Prize laureates. In addition to over 10,000 artifacts the Archives houses, engineering records, laboratory notebooks, press releases, catalogs, newsletters, biographies, reference books, 20,000 films, and millions of images. Archival material is made available to the Nokia employee base via an intranet site. Requests for archival services come from external sources including the media, external museums, academia and internal sources such as Nokia Marketing, Legal, employees and executives. The Bell Labs Technology Showcase (a permanent museum exhibition) is managed by the Archives.

Description: Assist Corporate Archivist with the collection, accessioning, and processing of Bell Labs archival material including, photographs, artifacts, documentation, and films.
Arrange and describe archival material and input information into Bell Labs Archives Intranet site that is accessible to all Nokia employees.
Develop content for internal and external exhibits including the Bell Labs Technology Showcase exhibition at the Bell Labs Headquarters.
Respond to both internal and external requests for historic information and material.
